To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus - 1 Corinthians 5:5 The Apostle Paul judges a man who has sexual relations with his father's wife - in the spirit ( he is not present in flesh in the Corinth church ) - but the Holy Spirit reveals the sin of the believers in the Spirit. Now why is this a sin ? Because God has very clearly spoken ! 'If there is a man who lies with his father's wife, he has uncovered his father's nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death, their bloodguiltiness is upon them' - Leviticus 20:11 'You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's wife; it is your father's nakedness' - Levitivus 18:8 "Cursed is anyone who sleeps with his father's wife, for he dishonors his father's bed." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!" - Deuteronomy 27:20 In the old testament the judgement of such sin was death and that is the same in the old testament narrative. Because death is the judgement for that. If let loose, their end result will be evil and their soul will be lost in hell forever. Sexual Sin - Fornication (Incest Judgement) 1 Corinthians 5:1-8 1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife ( sexual perversion - incest relations ) 2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. 3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. Destruction of the flesh unto Satan is one of the peak demonstration of the mercy of God shown on those whom he dearly loves in order to redeem their soul from the fire of hell. Moreover, allowing them to live might cause an unfavorable alteration in the timeline - but since the person who is inflicted by the destruction of the flesh is the son or daughter of God - God allows their flesh to be destroyed ( judgement for their sins - sexual sins narrative - 1 Corinthians 5:5 - read fully ) to redeem their soul. Again, to remphasize all of this is from the Bible. Not a single thing here is extra biblical. All of the things above are revealed Bible truths - things that you cannot ignore !
